IMPACT Program Summer Boot Camp Begins
The Interdisciplinary Mentoring Program in Analysis, Computation, and Theory (IMPACT) began its summer “boot camp” on June 23. The boot camp is an intensive summer semester program, funded by a $700,000 National Science Foundation grant, that prepares students to begin individual research projects. These research projects last the duration of the school year, culminating with each student presenting his or her work at BYUʼs Spring Research Conference.
IMPACT is an interdisciplinary cooperative of research groups and labs mentoring BYU students in high-quality research in applied sciences.
