Bryant Angelos
Bryant Angelos is from Columbus, Ohio and graduated in Mathematics from Brigham Young University in 2009. He was a Heritage Scholarship recipient, named Outstanding Junior Mathematician from BYU in 2008, received an ORCA research grant, and was given a University of Maryland Fellowship. Bryant is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Mathematics from the University of Maryland.

Blake Barker
Blake Barker is from Brigham City, Utah and graduated with a B.S. in Mathematics from Brigham Young University. He has given many presentations to conferences such as the 2007, 2008, and 2009 BYU Annual Spring Research Conferences and the 2009 AMS/MAA Joint Meeting Undergraduate Poster Session. Blake is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Mathematics at Indiana University in Bloomington. |

Ian Fillmore
Ian Fillmore is from Tahlequah, Oklahoma and majored in Economics, Mathematics, and Statistics at Brigham Young University. He is a Heritage Scholar, National Merit Scholar, and made the Dean’s List of Fall 2006 and Winter 2008. Ian is currently attending graduate school at the University of Chicago in Economics.

Travis Howe graduated from Brigham Young University in 2009 with a B.S. Degree is Mathematics and Economics. He is originally from Rochester, Minnesota and during his education, was awarded as an Edwin S. Hinckely Scholar. Travis is currently pursuing a Master's Degree at Northwestern University in Economics.

Drew Johnson
Drew Johnson, from Burley, Idaho, graduated from Brigham Young University in Mathematics, with a minor in Computer Science in 2009. He completed the Putnam Exam in 2005, 2007, and 2008, served as a research assistant for Gary Lawlor, and received the MAA Prize for Excellence in Wisconsin’s MathFest. Drew is completing his master’s degree at BYU.

Hayley Mattson
Hayley Mattson graduated from Brigham Young University in 2008 with a B.S. Degree in Statistics and a minor in Mathematics and Italian. She was a member and treasurer of Mu Sigma Rho. Currently, she works and resides in Boulder, Colorado helping a company with search optimization for their web start up. Hayley will continue her education in the fall at Columbia University.

Matthew Parry
Matthew Parry is from Idaho Falls, Idaho and he graduated with a B.S. in Biochemistry along with minors in Computer Science, Business, and Japanese in 2009. He received the Monson Scholarship and is currently studying medicine at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Tom Roderick
Tom Roderick, from Joshua, Texas, graduated with a B.S. in Economics and Mathematics from Brigham Young University in 2007. He worked in building automation with industry using control theory and is currently a member of the Society for Computational Economics. Tom is pursuing his Ph.D. in Economics at the University of Texas.

Keith Rudd
Keith Rudd has received his B.S. in Mathematics from Brigham Young University in 2007 and his M.S. from Northwestern University in 2008. He is from South Jordan, Utah and was awarded an Office of Research and Creative Activities (ORCA) grant in 2006 and the Walter P. Murphy Fellowship in 2008. He has issued a publication in Communications in Mathematical Physics. Keith is currently in the Ph.D. program for applied mathematics at Northwestern University.

Eric Sortomme
Eric Sortomme was born in Ephrata, Washington. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Brigham Young University in 2007 with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and a minor in Mathematics. His employment experience includes internships with Wavetronix LLC and Puget Sound Energy. He became a student member of IEEE in 2008 and has authored or co-authored several technical publications on microgrids and wind integration issues. Eric is currently pursuing a Ph.D. at the University of Washington in Electrical Engineering with research emphasis on SmartGrid technologies and wind power integration.

Jeremy West
Jeremy West is from Rocklin, California and has received his B.S. in Mathematics and Computer Science from Brigham Young University. In 2009, he also received his M.S. in Mathematics from BYU. He was awarded the Heritage Scholarship as an undergraduate student, a Graduate Research Fellowship Award, Graduate Teaching Award, and Graduate Service Award. He also owns his own software consulting company and plans to attend the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor to work on earning a Ph.D.
