Randy BeardRandy Beard received his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Utah in 1991, his M.S. in Electrical Engineering in 1993, M.S. in Mathematics in 1994, and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering in 1995 from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Since 1996, he has been a professor with the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at BYU. In 1998, 2002, and 2004 he received outstanding professor awards from his department. He also received the Young Scholar and Technology Transfer awards in 2004 and 2006, respectively. |

Derek BinghamDerek Bingham received his Ph.D. from the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Simon Fraser University in 1999, winning the Governor General's Gold medal. After graduation he joined the Department of Statistics at the University of Michigan as an Assistant Professor. Derek has been at Simon Fraser since the Fall of 2003 when he arrived as the Canada Research Chair in Industrial Statistics in the Department of Statistics and Actuarial Science. He is currently an Associate Professor of Statistics at Simon Fraser University. |

James CalvinJames Calvin received his B.S. in Computer Science and Mathematics from the University of Oregon. He also received both his M.S. in Statistics and Ph.D. in Statistics from Colorado State University. He currently serves as the Director of the Institute for Applied Mathematics and Computational Science at Texas A&M University. Calvin is a fellow of the American Statistical Association and an elected member of the International Statistical Institute, and he has received various recognitions and awards from the American Statistical Association. |

Robert CouchRobert Couch graduated from Brigham Young University with a B.S. in Economics and a B.A. in Russian in 1997. He also received his M.S. in Economics in 2000 and Ph.D. in Financial Economics in 2004 at Carnegie Mellon University. He is currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Business Management and he received Finance Society’s Best Undergraduate Teaching Award for the years 2005-2006. |

Jordan CoxJordan Cox graduated with a B.S. and M.S. from Brigham Young University in 1983 and 1984 respectively. He graduated with a Ph.D. from Purdue University in 1991. He has worked as an engineer for the Naval Weapons Center in China Lake, CA and Garrett Turbine Engine Company in Phoenix, AZ. He is currently working as an associate professor for Brigham Young University's Department of Mechanical Engineering and also serves on the Technical Advisory Board for Pratt & Whitney. |

John DallonJohn Dallon received his B.A. in Mathematics in 1989 from the University of Utah. He later received his M.A. and Ph.D. in Mathematics in 1991 and 1996, respectively. He has been a research assistant at the University of Warwick and Heriot-Watt University, and he currently serves as an Associate Professor in the Department of Mathematics at Brigham Young University. |

Jay GoodliffeJay Goodliffe completed his B.S. in Aeronautics and Astronautics with a minor in Political Science from Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1992. In 1996 he received his M.A. in Political Science, and in 1998 his Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Rochester. He was awarded the Graduate Teaching Assistant Prize in 1996 and currently works as an Associate Professor and an Associate Chair for Brigham Young University's Department of Political Science. |

Bruce HaslemBruce Haslem received his B.S. in Finance from Utah State University in 1993 and continued his education by completing his Ph.D. in Finance, with a minor in Economics, at Indiana University- Bloomington in 2004. He currently works as an Assistant Professor for the Department of Finance at Florida State University and serves as Chairman of the Board for Evaporite Systems Inc. in Yorktown, Virginia. |

David HigdonDave Hidgon received his B.A. in 1987 and his M.A. in 1989 from the University of California at San Diego in Mathematics. In August of 1994, he received a Ph.D. in Statistics from the University of Washington. Dave Higdon is currently the Group Leader at Los Alamos National Laboratory. He oversees the group's research which includes a variety scientific investigations with focus on national security. Dr. Higdon is an internationally recognized expert in Bayesian statistical modeling of physical systems. |

Craig KapferCraig Kapfer earned his B.S. in Mathematics with Honors from the University of Iowa. He also earned both his M.A. in Mathematics and M.S. in Computer Science from Indiana University at Bloomington. He has broad experience in parallel computing and computational science, holding positions at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, Advertising.com and several startups. In addtion to his curent position focused on video analytics for Vitamin D, Inc. in Menlo Park, California he also provides software and technology consulting services. |

Gregory LyngGregory Lyng graduated with a B.A. in mathematics from Saint Olaf College in 1996. His Ph.D. (2002) in Mathematics is from Indiana University. He spent three years as a post-doctoral assistant professor in the Mathematics Department at the University of Michigan, and he is currently an assistant professor at the University of Wyoming. |

Sven WilsonSven Wilson graduated, Magna Cum Laude, with a B.A. in Economics from Brigham Young University in 1989. He also received his M.A. in 1992 and Ph.D. in 1997 in Economics from the University of Chicago. His Ph.D. qualifying fields include Labor Economics and Econometrics and Statistics. He serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Political Science at Brigham Young University. |
